Choosing Your Size
Select the smallest listed size that completely contains your finished design.
For example, a design measuring 1.75 × 2.25 inches requires the 2 × 3-inch option.
Enter the exact finished width and height you want in the personalization field. If no exact dimensions are provided, we will scale the artwork proportionally to fit within the maximum size purchased.
Stamp size refers to the finished engraved design area, not necessarily the outside dimensions of the brass block.
Mounting Options
M5 Threaded Rod
Our standard option for many tabletop hot foil stamping machines. An M5 threaded rod and wing nut are included. Because machines and adapters vary, please verify your machine’s required thread before ordering.
Custom Threaded Connection
Select this option when your machine requires a thread other than M5. Enter the required thread size in the personalization notes.
Flat Back
The rear surface of the die is left flat for use with compatible holders, mounting systems or customer-provided fixtures.
Wooden Handle
Recommended for non-heated applications such as clay and pottery stamping. The wooden handle uses an M8 connection and should not be used in a heated hot foil press.
Artwork Requirements
Vector artwork is preferred. Accepted formats include:
Convert all text to outlines or paths and expand strokes before submitting the file.
Artwork should be solid black and white without gradients, shadows or photographic details. Black areas represent the portions of the design that will make contact with the material.
All lines, spaces and small details must meet our minimum feature size of 0.020 inch. This includes narrow lines and enclosed spaces inside letters such as “a,” “e,” “o” and “R.”
If your artwork is not production-ready, basic cleanup or full vector recreation may be available for an additional design fee.

Important Compatibility Information
Hot foil stamping results depend on the stamping machine, foil type, temperature, pressure, dwell time and material being stamped.
The standard M5 connection fits many hot foil stamping machines, but it is not universal. Please confirm your machine’s mounting requirements before ordering. Custom mounting configurations are available upon request.

Can one die include both lettering and a logo?
Yes. Lettering and a logo can be combined into one die as long as the artwork meets the minimum feature-size requirements.
Can this die apply gold lettering?
Yes. When used with a compatible hot foil stamping machine and gold foil, the die can transfer gold lettering, logos and other designs.
Can I use the die without foil?
Yes. A heated brass die can also create a blind debossed impression without adding color, depending on the material being stamped.
Can you review my artwork before I order?
Yes. Send us the artwork and intended finished size, and we can check whether the design is suitable for machining and stamping.
